GROOMING

Basic Grooming (please call for pricing) 

Our basic grooming includes a brush out, sanitary trim, bath with customized shampoo, ear cleaning and plucking (if needed), nail trim, and pad trim. . Our regular shampoo is lavender-infused to soothe, calm, and comfort your dog. We also offer hypo-allergenic, unscented shampoo by request.

Grooming and Haircut

The basic groom with a fancy cut for your longer haired pup. We are trained in all breed cuts, anything from a golden doodle puppy cut to a Schnauzer. Just let us know what you would like and we can do it! Pictures are always helpful.

Long Haired or Double Coated Grooming

Certain dog breeds have coats that are either double coated or very long, this means that they can form matts very easily and sometimes take longer to brush out. We like to take the time to do this with the least amount of stress and pain possible. When the hair becomes extremely tangled it can sometimes be impossible to brush out without causing great pain to the dog. In these cases we have to shave down the dog which is a time consuming process. After all matts are out we bathe your dog in a very gentle cleansing shampoo and finish with the rest of the basic grooming.

Puppies First Grooming!

Your puppies’ first grooming can be a little scary for them so we like to take our time and get them used to all of the different noises, standing on the table, getting their nails cut, and having a bath. We make sure they know the grooming salon is a fun happy place while trying to get as much of the basic grooming done as we can. Those guys are wiggly at first so the first time is all about getting them used to being with us.

EXTRAS

De-shedding (price varies by breed)

In addition to our basic groom, we wash your pup in a special de-shedding shampoo and use a Furminator brush to remove all loose hair. This is great for high shedding breeds such as Labradors and German Shepard Dogs.

Skunk Treatment    $20 (plus regular price of grooming)

When your dog runs into an unfortunate friend and comes home sticky bring them on in and we will take care of it with a special homemade treatment we have been using for years.

Flea Bath        $10 (plus regular price of grooming)

The Central New York area has become very flea-ridden. The little buggers have become immune to even the good flea preventions! If your dog has live fleas on them we require a flea bath to be done. This will kill all of the live fleas and prevent them from spreading. However the flea bath only kills what is on the dog at the time, there is no residual effect. We will let you know when you pick them up that we had to do a flea bath and recommend flea prevention that works, we try to keep track of what is working for people. 

Teeth Brushing & Freshening Spray   $10

We use a super gentle vanilla mint enzymatic toothpaste that makes stinky dog breath history.

Nail Filing       $10

In addition to the nail trimming we do in our basic groom we will grind the nails to make them less sharp, just like filing nails on a human. Perfect for those pups who get super excited and jump up.

Nail Trim Only     $15

Nail Pawlish        $20

This is a fun new service that will be sure to make your pup feel very fancy and looking their best. Just let us know what color! (Not all dogs will tolerate sitting still enough for this, we will let you know if we think they will like it.)

Pawdicure        $25

Nail trim, nail grind, paw balm and pawlish to keep your pup looking fresh.

Blueberry Facial    $8

Does your dog have an extra stinky face? (Bulldogs, Saint Bernard's, etc) Or maybe they have bad tear stains? (Poodles, Shih Tzus) This facial is an amazing blend of natural ingredients that will get rid of the stink and help lighten up tear stains and leave your dog’s face soft, smelling great, and super clean.

Paw Balm        $10

The Upstate New York winters can be rough on dogs’ feet. Going outside in the freezing cold with ice and salt and then back into the dry heat can tear up the pads on dogs’ feet. This ultra-conditioning balm will help them heal and stay healthy all winter long!

Conditioning Treatment    $10

Help beat the dry frizzy hair that causes matts by getting your dog an extra soothing conditioning treatment. It will help extend their grooming, making at-home brushing easier and keep them smelling amazing long after their appointment.

 Color Specific Shampoo    $10

Golden, Red, Black and White-colored shampoo to enhance the natural color of your dog’s coat.

 Oatmeal Shampoo    $10

Renowned as a powerful skin soother, oatmeal is widely used to treat a variety of skin conditions, such as eczema, burns, dryness, redness, and more.
